Irasburg, Vermont - February 12, 2009
WCAX News

Vt. State troopers are investigating an animal cruelty case in Irasburg. They say town officials found multiple dead animals at a home on West Glover Road, including a dog, goats, chickens and rabbits. The dog was found chained to an outdoor post. They also found several animals still alive and worked with town residents to find homes for them.

Police say the homeowners had left several days before town officials were called to the home.
